Before we arrive

What to expect from ADD Plaster.

A little preparation before we arrive helps keep the job safe, tidy and running smoothly.

What time do you arrive?

We aim to arrive between 7:30am and 8:00am. Traffic and site conditions can cause minor delays, but we will keep you updated wherever possible.

Do I need to prepare the room?

Please clear the immediate work area where practical. Large items can often stay, but fragile, breakable and valuable items should be moved before we start.

Can workers remove their shoes?

For WorkSafe compliance, staff need to keep safety footwear on. If you are concerned about flooring, please cover it before we arrive. We also use drop sheets in work areas and hallways.

Will there be dust?

We use dust extraction to reduce sanding dust, then vacuum and clean at the end. Some fine dust is still unavoidable and may settle afterward, so a light follow-up clean is usually needed.

What about access and heating?

Plasterboard is bulky, so clear hall tables and obstacles where possible. Please also turn heaters off or down while work is underway so the site stays safe and comfortable.

Are you insured?

Yes. ADD Plaster is fully insured and follows relevant WorkSafe requirements. MSDS documentation is available on request.

Can I send photos for a quote?

Yes. Photos, measurements and a short description are usually the best starting point. For bigger jobs, an on-site look may be needed.

Still wondering?

Send a photo and a few details.

Greg can let you know what is likely involved and what information is needed for a quote.
